DAY 1
WELCOME TO THE GRAMPIANS

Our guide will meet you as you arrive at the accommodation in Halls gap. Once settled into your acommodation we will then have a welcome dinner in a nearby retaurant and the guide will brief you on the adventure ahead.

DAY 2
MOUNT STAPYLTON

Today we begin a moderately challenging route up the northern most peak of the Grampians.

The track initially heads steadily upward over Flat Rock with stunning views over Mount Stapylton. We will ascend to Mount Stapylton to get 360 degree views over the Wimmera. Wind and water-eroded caverns, cliff, and gargoyle like rock formations are a sign of what is to come as you walk the Grampians Peak Trail.

Walking: Moderate / 11 km / 6 hrs

Meals: Cooked breakfast, walkers lunch and dinner

DAY 3
MOUNT ROSEA

Today’s walk is one of the real highlights.

It’s a day full of high points on the Grampians Peak Trail with 360-degree magnificent views from the summit of Mount Rosea. The options along the way make this an epic day of hiking.

 

Walking: Challenging / 14 km / 6-7 hrs

Meals: Cooked breakfast, walkers lunch and dinner

Accommodation: Halls Gap Motel

DAY 4
WONDERLAND RANGE

Today we will aim to walk from our accommodation in Halls Gap up into the Wonderland range above Halls Gap with amazing lookouts and canyons to navigate, with the bonus of walking straight back into town.

Walking: Moderate / 13km / 6 hrs

Meals: Cooked breakfast, walkers lunch and dinner

Accommodation: Halls Gap Motel

 

DAY 5
DEPART

Today will be your last breakfast together before we check out, say our goodbyes and wish you a safe journey home.

The accommodation is a comfortable motel in Halls Gap with ensuite rooms.

Every day you will wake to a cooked breakfast in a cafe/restaurant to ready yourself for the upcoming day’s walk. You’ll lunch at incredible locations. The walker’s lunches complete the circle ensuring that your appetite is always kept satisfied.  A walker’s lunch may include a high protein type salad, a roll or a wrap, a muesli bar,and a piece of fruit. Each day is slightly different.

Dinner will be in local restaurants each night

Alcohol or drinks with meals are not included (except tea/coffee and juice with breakfast).

See the Bureau of Meteorology for information about temperatures and rainfall ahead of time to ensure proper clothing.

The walks on this trip are some of the most spectacular and of the highest quality in Australia. Like all things of high quality, there’s a cost to pay, and in this case, it is a bit of energy. The walks on this trip are moderate to challenging and include some substantial climbs. The tracks range in quality, but most are reasonably good underfoot.

The tracks vary in quality, but all are easily passable.

We require that you have adequate travel insurance against potential losses, damage or injury, including cancellation costs and loss of luggage.
