TERRAIN - FLAT TERRAIN

Training for walking on flat, hard terrain primarily focuses on building endurance and ensuring you can maintain a comfortable pace. Start with regular walks on sidewalks, roads, or paved paths to acclimate to the surface. Maintain a proper posture and engage your core muscles to support your back and maintain a steady gait. Ensure that you have comfortable, supportive footwear with adequate cushioning. If endurance is important, consider incorporating low-impact cross-training activities like swimming or cycling into your routine.

AVAILABILITY

This walk is available between 1st of March to 30th of November.

Note: A single supplement is required for groups of 3 or 5 passengers. Additionally, a supplement may apply for twin room requests.

 

PRE-BOOKABLE OPTIONS

The optional tour, lunch and tasting at Chateau Clos Gougeot on day 2 starts at 11:30am. There will be a guided tour of the Chateau, followed by a 4-course Burgundy inspired lunch and wine tasting of 6 wines delivered in English. Available from Tuesday to Sunday between April and October, or from Thursday to Sunday in March & November.

The optional tour and tasting on day 4 at Chateau de Meursault includes a guided tour of the cellars followed by a tasting of 8 wines. From October and April the tour is available everyday between 10am and 12pm, & 2pm to 6pm. In March & November the tour is available Wednesday to Sunday morning.

The optional dinner on day 4 at Clos Saint Jacques includes a starter, main, cheese and dessert and is paired with 1 white wine and 2 red wines.

HOW TO GET THERE AND AWAY

ARRIVAL 

Paris is the closest international airport with train connections available for approximately 1.5 hour travel time.  Alternatively, we can assist in arranging transfers to your hotel. Ensure a smooth journey by planning your arrival ahead of time.

 

DEPARTURE

Your journey concludes with a return transfer to Beaune after breakfast on Day 5. From Beaune, you can easily catch a train back to Paris, making onward travel simple and convenient. 

INSURANCE

We require that you have adequate travel insurance against potential losses, damage or injury, including cancellation costs and loss of luggage.

For all trips that require international travel, you must have purchased travel insurance that also includes medical evacuation coverage.
