Auswalk's Like Minds

Traveller’s Tales

Karen Blake – November 2016, Great South West Walk

Yet another fabulous trip with Auswalk, my 10th.
Their attention to detail and logistics for each trip is amazing, leaving the walkers to enjoy every moment of their walking holiday.
The best parts of the Great South West walk were included in this trip giving variety of habitat and scenery for each day’s walk.
Opportunities were provided to see some of the other interesting destinations, attractions and wildlife around the area as well.
Good company with like-minded people, good food, very comfortable accommodation and great guides to round off a fantastic experience. Thanks Auswalk.

Margaret Spooner – September 2016, Cape to Cape Track

I’m sure the friendliness and welcome from our guides contributed to everyone enjoying each other’s company and having a wonderful time.
It was one of the best walking holidays I’ve done, despite adverse weather on several days. Thank you.

Ulli Cliff – May 2016, Carnarvon Gorge

This was my third Auswalk and it lived up to all my expectations. This walk had been recommended to me by fellow walkers on my previous trip, and it did not disappoint.
I particularly enjoyed the Bunya Mountains and Carnarvon Gorge, a magic place. Accommodation and food were excellent.
A special thank you to our guides Marie and Rob, who looked after us so very well. I had a fantastic time and looking forward to my next Auswalk.

Sally Richards – May 2016, Great Ocean Walk

I think the walk was fantastic.
Everything was seamless – notes were accurate and thorough; transport was perfect – always on time and super nice obliging people; accommodation ranged from the normal but completely fine motel rooms to gorgeous boutique places like the Ecolodge and Aire Valley Guesthouse and Southern Anchorage; food was delicious and way way more than enough for us although others might like to eat that much; hosts were friendly and super genial; talk at Ecolodge informative and a great bonus; the walk itself beyond superlatives and the weather was pretty damn perfect except for gale force winds and torrential rain all of day 1.
We are already planning our next walk with you guys. Thanks for everything.

Jess Hoare – March 2016, Great Alpine Walk

Best walking notes we’ve ever used.
Honestly, Auswalks have been brilliant.
Your attention to detail stands out above all, as well as the fact your staff seem to have actually walked the walks.
The accommodation and hosts were all delightful, and all clearly had worked with you for a while.
Really cant think of anything you could do better.

Debbie Richardson – November 2015, Blue Mountains

Thank you Auswalk, we loved out trip.
It was easy to book, the accommodation and food was fantastic and the trip notes were so clear that even I couldn’t get us lost!
The walking routes were fantastic, we feel like we saw a lot of the Blue Mountains in a short time.
Thank you for making our holiday easy and enjoyable.

Charles & Flavia Abela – July 2015, Red Centre

When we travel with Auswalk we feel part of a large family.
The care and organisation of every aspect of travel is thought of. “Thank you”.

Deb Weston – June 2015, Red Centre

The guides were extremely capable, professional but warm and friendly;
nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond in aspect of providing the group with a wonderful walking holiday.
We travelled to the most spectacular areas and walked trails through breath taking parts of Australia.
Can’t rate this walking holiday and in particular the attention to detail by the guides too highly.

Bonita Evans – May 2015, Carnarvon Gorge

My Auswalk trip was a very well organized, enjoyable and stress free experience.
The guides were knowledgeable, genuine, welcoming and very professional at managing a group of different personalities to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.
The accommodation was very comfortable, I would say luxurious at Carnarvon Lodge, I could definitely move in there.
Thank you for a great holiday.

Petra Simoncic & Suraj Deore – January 2015, Great South West Walk, Switzerland

We have done several self guided hiking tours before in other countries.
This hike was by far the one with the best and most accurate notes. We were quite impressed with how accurate the indicated walking times were.
The description was also very accurate, and we were never lost or in doubt of where to go.

Jacqui Brooks – March 2014, Great Ocean Walk

For me, the entire experience, from the initial booking, to being picked up and dropped off at the
airport at the beginning and end of the walk was an extremely rewarding experience.
Walking with Auswalk for a second time made me feel like family and I know I will be back.
