WALK A – Lipari to Quattropani: After breakfast, you’ll hop on the local bus from Lipari town and head up to Quattropani, that’s the kick-off point for a cracker of a walk along the island’s western coast. This is the wildest part of Lipari, a real plunge into the wilderness, mate! You’ll be treated to some magnificent views of the land and the sea that’ll knock your socks off.
The journey leads you right to the San Calogero thermal baths. Get this: they’re thought to be the oldest spa in the whole Mediterranean, dating back to the Mycenaean period. Pretty incredible history to soak up (literally, if you like!). From there, it’s a lovely walk back towards Lipari town, passing through quaint villages and even a few natural fumaroles (those cool little steam vents). It’s a fantastic way to see the island’s true heart!
