This is a selection of the best walks on Australia’s longest coastal walk the Cape to Cape. It traverses a landscape that offers a great variety of walking, including over pristine white sand of the deserted beaches that are impossible to get to other than by foot. Incredible views out over the azure blue waters of the Indian Ocean are present most of the way.
We spend more of our time north of Margaret River where the walk traverses clifftops, deserted beaches, hamlets and villages, coastal heathlands, peppermint tree woodlands and majestic Karri forests. This walk also avoids the longest days on the beach. Being located in Margaret River an area renowned for its excellent lodging and dining experiences, adds another dimension to the overall experience. Why not add a day to visit the wineries.
Springtime wildflowers in vivid violet, topaz and crimson contrast the calming blue, green and whites of the natural scenery. And in autumn and winter whales frolic off the coast readying themselves for the long swim back south to Antarctica.
You’ll have the support of our experienced team on the ground all the way. At the end of each day have a hot shower, a chef prepared dinner and breakfast and a good night’s sleep in a comfortable room with an en suite, rising refreshed and primed for each day’s fabulous pack free walking.
