Our recent trip was excellent across the board, from the accommodations to the meals and the guides. Each motel had its own appeal: Lochard boasted spacious rooms, Bimbi Park offered koala spotting from the cabins, and Sandpiper Motel provided a quiet, comfortable stay. All featured comfy beds and hot showers. The flexible meal ordering system was a definite highlight, with Waves in Port Campbell being a particular standout for delicious options. We especially enjoyed creating our own fresh salads with wraps or bread for lunch at Bimbi Park. Our guides were superbly organised, helpful, and informative. Lee, in particular, made the experience even better with his wit and local expertise. We also loved being able to support local businesses, and the thoughtful touches like memorable breaks, the surprise afternoon tea at the end of each day’s walk, and delicious treats throughout truly enhanced our trip. It was a highly recommended experience!

Excellent, well organised walk with fantastic accommodation and terrific guides. The choice of cafes and restaurants was very good.

Entire trip went extremely well and foods were of good quality. On the other hand, Georgie and Neil were amazing so attentive and informative – really appreciated them.

The Great Ocean Walk was fabulous. Amazing scenery. We did it in 7 days and the distance was good for us. Trip notes very helpful. Transport. food and accommodation all five stars from us. We would love to do another Auswalk trip in the future.

Guides were knowledgeable about the walk and surrounding area and very quickly understood the dynamic of our group and the way we like to walk (some fast, some very slow). They were able to adapt to make sure everyone felt comfortable.

Loved the guides. Very appreciate to our age group and, noise level, various walking abilities and our group of strong personalities. The guides fitted in well with us and were calm and clear when we needed specific instructions

This is my second walk with Auswalk and I have thoroughly enjoyed each walk. It was very professionally organised from booking the walk to actually completing the walk. The accommodation each stay was excellent, the food in restaurants for breakfast and dinner was delicious and the packed lunches were perfect for a walk.
The scroggan (walking snacks) the guides Katie and Georgie prepared for us each morning was plentiful and catered to all tastes

It was a fabulous hike. Great guides, excellent food and accommodation. Every aspect was taken care of. Can’t recommend highly enough Auswalk.

The variety of trail surfaces, vegetation types and scenery was better than expected. A big shout out to Katie, Georgie and Naomi who were great: friendly, cheerful, relaxed and very helpful with minor details. Their knowledge of the track was excellent and we enjoyed many informative and sometimes funny stories. Naomi was also easy to relate to and was always on the lookout for ways to be helpful to walkers. She was also great at spotting koalas!

All four guides were lovely. They are all really knowledgeable and clearly love their jobs which made the walk very well.

The guides were very helpful as usual and the handover from one to another seemed to work well. I was very appreciative of Katie and Georgie’s help with my heel issues, leech and heat issues. They were kind, professional and good hearted. It was a good group with lots of fun

The Great Ocean Walk is fabulous. It was not an easy bar the first day (only 8km). Scenery was amazing, accommodation brilliant and the Auswalk App made navigating simple . The food at both places we stayed was fabulous. Overall a fantastic Auswalk adventure.

The Great Ocean Walk is a fantastic way to see this part of Australia. The track is well laid out, and the views of the ocean along the way are amazing. Auswalk did a great job organizing this and communicated well with us during the whole booking process.

The whole trip worked really well. Organisation was great, all the people supporting us, transport, accommodation were extremely helpful and really friendly.

I urge anyone who enjoys walking with stunning scenery to do this walk. With medium fitness anyone can do it.
Auswalks attention to detail was immaculate.
The accommodation picked for us was wonderful and the food amazing. We were never hungry but always excited to see what was on the menu.
The transfer companies used to transfer us each day were always prompt and really helpful adjusting pickup times.
The information supplied regarding each day’s itinerary was well delivered and easy to follow.

The Great Ocean Walk was described well in the information and paralled what was described.
The views were breathtaking and the variety of scenery was perfect!
The paths and walkways were varied.
The options for shorter/longer walks were appropriate and enabled all of the group to join in to match their abilities and interests.

All went to plan accommodation was great and hosts more then helpful and the food was amazing – so much we could not eat it all.

The App was impressive! AusWalks is always my preferred option for my walking trips. Accommodation and meals are always impressive. The App is amazing!

I thought the organisation of the walk, all the associated arrangements, accommodation, and transfers, were excellent Your information pack was exemplary and the App was also invaluable and easy to use. Exceeded my expectations, for me I found it physically challenging but with advise from the guides who are knowledgeable, friendly & reassuring, I was able to select the best for my capabilities.

We couldn’t fault any of the experience provided by AUSWALK, Once we found the path in Apollo Bay, the path was clearly marked all the way. Accommodation was first class, transfers worked perfectly (and we appreciated that the transferer actually put our beer in the fridge so it was cold when we arrived). Meals were outstanding in every case.

Excellent – the 7 day ocean road guided walk was excellent. Our guides Lee & Beck were well organised, enthusiastic & most helpful, nothing was too hard. The walk is a hike & at times challenging however Lee & beck ensured we had plenty of time for rest breaks & we never felt rushed. We had a cracking time with our group of 13 … I always felt safe, felt the guides had everything under control, there was lots of very good quality food, a wide selection, etc we made some good friends and definitely had some fun along the way. Well done Auswalk five stars from me.

Our guides, Bec and Lee, were not only super professional but kept us entertained with their delightful sense of humour. And the food? I was a bit worried about my food intolerances before the trip, but I needn’t have been – every meal was absolutely delicious, high quality, and carefully catered to my needs. The walk itself was just beautiful – the views of the coast are breathtaking. I particularly appreciated being able to skip a few stages to take it easy on my pre-existing Achilles tendon problems – this flexibility allowed me to enjoy the whole experience without worry. The trip was fantastic , transfers were always on time , col and Venessa made these transfers one of the highlights of the trip , accommodation was good and food was brilliant at chi farm , a seamless trip with a magnificent walk , we saw all the wildlife including koala , echidna , wallaby , kangaroo , deer , fox, black cockatoos , various other birds and yes brown , tiger and black snake ( and they left us alone)

I had the best time on the Great Ocean Walk! The walk was incredibly beautiful, the accommodation and staff were lovely and very well organised by Auswalk!

We were so glad we arranged this walking holiday with AUSWALK as the attention to detail in the planning, communication, walking note booklets, booking summary and the app were excellent. All we really had to do was walk and enjoy ourselves. It was everything we’d hoped it would be and we look forward to planning more such walks.

I have just spent the best week walking the Great Ocean Walk with Auswalk. The scenery was everchanging & spectacular. The walk itself was challenging in parts but for the most pretty easy going. We fluked fantastic weather for the time of year which made for a pleasant walking experience. There was so much food I don’t think I lost any weight despite walking every day. The food & accommodation was excellent – you did not need to spend any money on the trip, apart from drinks, as everything was provided. We are already looking at where our next Auswalk trip might be. Thanks Lee & Bec for a fantastic week.
